David Barnes, PhD is a preeminent authority in artificial intelligence (AI), strategic digital transformation, and innovation leadership. With extensive military, academic, and technology experience, David has shaped organizational strategies and technological advancements in defense, healthcare, cybersecurity, and higher education. As the founder and CEO of Empowering-AI, David empowers boards and senior leaders to capitalize on AI-driven opportunities, ensuring they align innovation with strategic objectives and operational excellence. His pragmatic approach to digital transformation combines advanced governance frameworks and risk management techniques to unlock growth while addressing regulatory complexities. David‘s distinguished career includes serving as the Chief AI Ethics Officer for the US Army AI Integration Center, where he spearheaded the Army’s Responsible AI Strategy, encompassing risk frameworks, education, and governance, and he advised organizations including IEEE, DARPA, and NATO and served as fellow at Oxford University’s Institute for Ethics in AI. His leadership and academic excellence demonstrate his proven ability to inspire high-performance teams, develop cross-enterprise solutions, and coach senior leaders in adapting to dynamic, technology-driven environments.

Jeff Sundheim, a 16 year veteran of Google, is a seasoned Business Strategist specializing in AI and personalization. He collaborates closely with major clients and executives to drive business transformation through AI-driven marketing and customer experience initiatives. Prior to Google, Jeff worked at Apple as well as on the agency and media sides of the business. He’s a sculptor (jeffsundheim.com) who’s exhibited worldwide and has a permanent public art installation in Truman Waterfront Park in Key West, FL. Jeff lives in Brooklyn, NY, volunteers in a homeless youth shelter and serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.

Dawn is the CEO of Pure Data Centres Group building and operating hyperscale data centres. Before joining Pure she led a multi-billion transformation programme for National Grid across both the gas and electricity transmission businesses. This followed several senior engineering appointments as: the Group Engineering Director for Merlin Entertainments with responsibility for engineering delivery and standards across the worldwide portfolio of theme parks; and the Head of Engineering at Gatwick Airport. She joined Gatwick after 23 years as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force.

She is a Trustee of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Chairs the Audit & Risk Committee and a Trustee of the Air League. She was the longest serving President of the Women’s Engineering Society, turning it around over a 5 year tenure, and is currently the Chair of the iMasons People Committee.

She was honoured with a Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Engineering in October 2020 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the engineering profession and was appointed a Dame Commander of the British Empire (DBE) for services to engineering in the King’s New Years Honours 2023.

Magnus Nydén leads the Digital Science, Business Development and Science & Innovation teams within PT&D. Additionally, he leads a program aimed at creating a holistic digital twin of AstraZeneca’s Development process, employing various AI methods, including Generative AI. This initiative seeks to optimize the development process, reduce costs, lower the carbon footprint, and enhance productivity, ultimately improving the accessibility and affordability of medicines for our patients. With a career spanning both academia and industry, Magnus brings expertise that allows him to act at the interfaces between chemistry, physics, biology, material science, spectroscopy and applied mathematics, including artificial intelligence. Magnus holds MSc and PhD in Physical Chemistry and Material Science from Lund University, specializing in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. Magnus’s professional journey is complemented by his passion for the ocean and racket sports.

Nordens största mötesplats, Stockholm Tech Show, blev en oöverträffad resa genom den senaste tekniken, från AI-genombrott till revolutionerande molnlösningar och framtidens mobila kommunikation. Den 22-23 maj var det full aktivitet på mässgolvet på Kistamässan. I konferensrummen och på de öppna scenerna delade fantastiska talare med sig av sin kunskap och sina erfarenheter. Sammanfattningsvis har ökningen av besökare och aktiviteter varit markant och innehållet utöver det vanliga.
